Customer Charter
We are committed to being a transparent and accountable organisation, we want you to know what you can expect from us and the level of service we will provide.

The promise
The six-point promise shows what you can expect from us.
1. We will be polite and respectful in all of our dealings with you.
2. We will respond to you via the communication channel that you specify, whenever we can (in person, the telephone, by email or letter).
3. We will serve you in a timely manner.
4. We will own your enquiry by taking responsibility for resolving it.
5. We will listen to your point of view.
6. We will provide you with accurate information that you can rely on.

 


 

 

Customer Complaints
We are committed to our customer charter and providing an exemplary service.
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service we encourage you to let us know and we will do our best to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

 

What you can expect from us
At each stage of the process we will acknowledge receipt of your concerns within five working days giving you a named contact point and telephone number for your complaint. We will then strive to provide you with a full response to your complaint within 20 working days.

 

Stage 1
In most cases we would do our upmost to resolve your complaint immediately. So please make our staff aware of your complaint as soon as possible and we will do all we can to quickly resolve it to your satisfaction.

 

Stage 2
If we have not resolved your complaint at stage one you can contact the Director by telephone, post or email. Please explain the full details of your complaint, and the Director will carry out a thorough investigation into your concerns. Should it be necessary the Director or a Senior Officer will arrange to meet with you to resolve the complaint.

This refers to the general right of access that the public have to the information held by us and other public authorities. Rights of access to environmental information exist under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
