Sussex IFCA uses an online permit system to regulate hand gathering, oyster and shellfish activities under the relevant byelaws.

The permits helps Sussex IFCA understand the level of fishing activity taking place within our district. This information supports a clearer picture of local fisheries and helps inform future management decisions.
